4th Class – Oct 24 Mon – No class

Today was the first day of the second term, the most confusing time table has changed. When we got into the classroom Ms.Jane announced that our time table schedule have changed, I said ‘HOORAY’ in my head. She announced the changes of period and these are the followings

Most of the math classes were changed but sadly one of my favorite teacher, Mr.Frank will not teach us anymore.

 

The only change we had today was change of the math time. It changed from 4th period to 5th period. Then, what are we doing during 4th class? I didn’t know until the time come. When, it has come to 4th period, we were confused where to go so we went to our MS principal, Mr. Paul Sebastian, to ask what subject we have during Monday, 4th period. He searched in his laptop for the time schedule of 6-1. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find it too, so he came to us and said ‘You will have free time for today only, you are going to have study free time with Ms.Mairin Raisdana’. That sentence came right through my heart and my heart replied with a great big laugh, and said ‘HOORAY’.

Don’t you think our new class schedule is confusing?

MAN CITY-MAN UTD 6-1

After the car crash and futsal, I went back to my home . I came back fast because today is a day of a big EPL soccer match. It’s a match between Man City and Man Utd. I will tell the highlights.

I AM ON MANCHESTER UNITED SIDE……

The first half started in Man Utd’s home field called Old Trafford, Man Utd wasn’t bad playing and co-operating but things changed after the goal of Machester City led by Mario Barwuah Bartelli at 22mins of the first half. Man Utd began to panic and couldn’t co-operate very well. Especially Evans, Nani and Anderson plays were bad. They narrowly past the first half…. Then the unlucky, unfair and bad play second half was started.

Kick Off was led by Man City since Man Utd led the first Kick Off. Man City started to run to the goal with a ball without hesitation. Evans tried to stopped the ball and accidently push like a feather but then, Man City player over reacted and falls like if he have been stepped. Then the referee I dislike took the red card out of his pocket and gave it to Evans. WHAT WAS THAT RED CARD FOR~~!!!?. After the red card, Man Utd started to Panic again. Then, they let Man City score again. It was scored by same person at 15mins of the second half. Man Utd started to cheer up but that couldn’t help a bit. They let Man City scored again~. It was scored by Sergio Leonel Aguero at 24mins of the second half. Until 36mins, they played smoothly.. and FINALLY..

FINALLY MAN UTD SCORED~~!!!!!, it was led by Darren Bar Fletcher at 36mins of the second half….YAY~!! HOORAY~ WAY TO GO MAN UTD~!!

GLORY, GLORY MAN UNITED~GLORY, GLORY MAN UNITED~GLORY, GLORY MAN UNITED~AS THE REDS GO MATCHING ON ON ON …

But this goal couldn’t make us happy for a long time because Man City scored again!! how is that possible? Its 4-1 now!! the 4th goal was led by Edin Djeko at 44mins. I knew we lost and I thuoght the match was going to end like this… but it didn’t

3mins were given for the loss time. But during that loss time, Man Utd couldn’t score BUT Man City scored twice again~~ These two goals were scored by Edin Djeko and David Silva at 46mins and 48mins. I can’t believe this match… It’s all because of the referee!!! I hope this kind of match will never happen again…and the game ended on 6-1…

SORRY BUT MAN U BUT YOU SHOULD ADMIT IT, BECAUSE YOU DIDN”T LET MY FAVORITE PLAYER, J.S.PARK, RUN THE GAME^^ BUT CHEER UP MAN UTD~~ YOU WILL GET A NAME OF 20CHAMPIONS THIS EPL SEASON~~!!! MAN UTD ROCKS, MAN UTD FOREVER~~~

Car Crash – RAINY DAY, UNLUCKY DAY

I was waiting for a car to pick me up with a rain to play soccer with my friends….Image by Hy’Shqa

On a way to a futsal field, me and my friends were singing a song. Soon, we heard a little sound, it sounded like ‘shhhh’ and we realized it was a sound scratching with another car. It was just a tiny scratch but the owner (driver) of the other car was extremely angry and crash my friend’s car very hard. All the glass broke and the car almost moved  and thats when the problem start.

The other car driver came out of the car and tried to punch my friend’s car with a scary look on his face. Soon, he shouted very loudly that we couldn’t even make a sound of breath. We were so scared and said ‘sorry’ like millions of time but they didn’t even listen or eye-contact us. They took the personal ID of my friend’s driver then said ‘follow us to reapair center’. We were so scared and followed without a word because we knew they were soldiers. In Indonesia, the soldiers are the highest rank in the country, said my father. But still, I can’t believe they got angry so suddenly only by trusting their jobs and country. I started to hate (don’t like) Indonesian soldiers.

When we went to the repair center, my friend called his mother to pick us up because they were no reason for us to stay in the crushed car filled with cold atmosphere and scariness. I was so scared and couldn’t say a word during 1 hour. Then things went well by promising they will meet again on Monday and talk about it again.

Later on, I thought back and realized something was strange. The questions I had inside my head were

- ‘Why did we say we will pay for their repair when they started first?’

- ‘How did they come out in a sudden and lead us to the repair center without losting the way?’

- ‘Why did they over-react and took personal ID of my friend’s driver?’

And I started to worry ‘What if they take that driver’s personal ID and use it?’… even though, it wasn’t my problem, I was really worried because that car was my friends and I felt sorry for driver.

 

HOPE THIS KIND OF THING WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN AGAIN IN MY LIFE… YOU GUYS BE CAREFUL TOO… SAFE DRIVING^^…OH~!! AND I HAVE A QUESTION I WANT TO ASK YOU GUYS..

‘WHAT DO U THINK ABOUT THE PROBLEM? WHO WAS WRONG? ‘ I NEED AN ANSWER BECAUSE I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TODAY…

Math Reflection

This semester, I really had fun learning new maths with one of my favorite teacher, Mr.Frank. I learnt a lot of things during math classes. I learned a lot of plots and graphs, Landmarks and units, percents, also using Geometry Template. But human can’t be perfect. There were some of things I couldn’t use and work really well. They are co-operating and risk-taker.

Co-operating = work with other people by communicating, sharing ideas, feelings, thoughts and opinions.

Risk-Taker = Person take risk and go out and present what they think and the answer for the solution.

I will improve these attributes next semester by raising my hands up when I think I might know the answer, go in front of the class and share what I think, communicate with others when I do a group work and Sharing ideas, feelings, thoughts and opinions proudly.

I am doing well following math classes because I keep working on my math work sheets in my house which was really helpful in school and I will keep working on it. I am good at mental math, math using shapes and graphs.

Next semester, I want to do a lot of group works and playing games because some of my friends think math is boring every time but actually it isn’t. So, I want to make them fun learning math by doing some activities, project and games. This semester, we couldn’t have fun a lot because it was the beginning of the year but we had some games from Mr.Frank which was really challenging and fun. Sadly, we can’t have that kind of games anymore since Mr.Frank will not teach us again after this semester.

I had whole lot of fun and knowledge learning math with you, Mr.Frank. I was really happy working with you and I hope you will teach us next year. I really appreciate how kind you were and teaching us as hard as you can. I will work hard so you can say to others proudly that DAVE is your STUDENT~. THANK YOU for teaching us this semester, Mr.Frank….

The hard yellow swing

The Sun was hot and bright. People wear thin clothes and get sweaty. Most of the people stayed in their house with their friends or family to chill down. But unfortunately, a boy name called Dave couldn’t stay with his friends or family. Dave is a boy who really loves to hang out with his friends and family. Sometimes, he is a troublemaker but he really cares and loves people around him. He tries to help and make them smile all the time because he thinks friends, family and love are the most important things in the world.

But that day, Dave wasn’t energetic. It’s because he was bored, so he started to play a game with PSP by himself and watch TV in a spooky bedroom with all the lights turned off and curtain shut which made sunlight red. When he realized that both of these solutions couldn’t help him getting out of the boredom, he decided to go to peaceful playground by himself. Usually, the playground is really quiet and peaceful because there are no people around the playground but with all grass and flowers smiling. That day, he saw two mans sitting and talking to each other in front of the playground.  Until then, he didn’t know how helpful they are going to be afterwards.

He started to ride a hard yellow swing made of metal above the green grass. While he was riding a swing, he thought about him riding swings with his friends, but that didn’t happen in reality. He was bored riding swing so he went up the stairs to ride a slide. To him, slide was just a tiring and boring ride. When he was even bored riding slide, he came back to a hard yellow swing and began to make a great big trouble.

10 minutes have passed, He was tired riding so he tried to stop the swing and go back to his room to play games. Right before he stopped the swing he thought of a cool and stupid idea. It was a idea about him jumping from the swing like a batman. So, he decided to jump from swinging swing. When he jumped, he crossed his legs each other and couldn’t make a smooth landing to the ground. He just sat right below the place he has jumped. He realized he was sitting there but it was to late……
The swing that was coming backs hit his back head. That second, he made the quiet playground noisy with two men screaming, red grass crying covered with blood. This is why we call him a troublemaker but good thing is that he kept his hand phone with him which made two men easy to call his mother. When his mother heard about that story, she was shocked and panicked.
When his mother has arrived, Dave lost his conscious and blood was spreading until the floor.

His mother took him to the big gigantic and enormous hospital. It was so scary, to him it wasn’t a hospital anymore but a old haunted house because he knew that he needed to take a small surgery to sew. when he went inside the medical room, he saw a ghost with a great big smile like a scary doctor. Doctor gave him  a little antiseptic which was really painful. He was scared because it was his first time sewing his head.  Tick, with a light turned on, Bang, with a door shut, the small surgery has start.
He was sleeping and lying down on a bed. The doctor covered all the body except for his back head. He started to take his sharp equipments and a thin small string to sew. It was painful using antiseptic in the injury but he couldn’t scream, because he knew there were a lot of people who were badly injured than him. Doctor said he was going to sew 5 strips but it was just to make him calm which didn’t actually made him calm. He sewed for 7 strips, which his mother thought it was too much but the surgery went really well. After the surgery the hospital changed to heaven and a doctor has changed to an angel.
Nobody can stop him being a best rouble maker ever.

Eco Investigation fieldtrip

Grade 6: Field Trip Eco Investigation
You will be visiting three different locations: a landfill, waste water treatment plant and a recycling pney. You must bring a camerlant. You are required to investigate, document, and later analyze the following during the day journal or phone to take pictures with.

Before you go please answer the following:
1. Name three types of pollution.
Water Pollution, Air Pollution, and Land Pollution

2. Landfill: What items do you think you will see in the landfill? List 10 of items

The water gets sucked to the water treater then gets cleaned, then the water mix with a chemical (PAC and Capote)

How a bee affects your life – reflections

Ecosystems are the interaction of living and non-living things.

 

This bee affects my life in the following ways:

1 This bee can sting us and we will get sick and hurt

2 This bee can provides honey to us

3 The killer bee can kill us if we get sting

4 Sometimes it is poisonous

5 It’s so noisy when they flies (annoying)

6 This bee can keep flowers alive (pollen)

7 This bee can keep fruits and vegetables

8 Keeps animals and humans alive

1.  Where is this photo taken? Indonesia, Jakarta River

2.  How does it make you feel?  It is disgusting but all of these trashes are from us, humans. I felt so angry and disappointed to myself and everybody in Indonesia.

3.  Is there a solution? Yes, we can use less shampoo, throw less trashes, and don’t throw trashes anywhere. Recycle the trashes you can recycle such as plastic, glass and aluminum.

4.  Are you a part of the pollution or the solution? I think I’m in part of the pollution because I usually throw a lot of trash to trash can and not recycle them.

class report – oct 6th 2011

We have finally finish writing our plot line story. I can’t believe we spent this month to finish this…. It was a worst September ever but not week without walls. I hope we can do whole bunch of exciting things this month (October). So, basically what we did today was spending 20 minutes finishing our plot line story and share with a buddy to comment. I think sharing document with a buddy is a really good idea because we can share ideas and tell the owner how we feel about the story.

Then We had Mr.Jabiz explaining about Writing Tips and Class Reporter Timetable. Most of the students felt boring listening instruction Mr.Jabiz is explaining. A student almost fell a sleep but I hope that will never happen again because it’s bad to sleep in a class. Don’t you guys agree?

When we had 20 minutes left, we learnt how to use the green screen. Mr. Jabiz showed us a picture of a waterfall and we needed to act like we were really in waterfall. Working with partners were fun. We needed to describe how we feel in the script. After we act in front of the green screen, we saw Mr.Jabiz editing our video and combining with waterfall picture in Imovie.

Isn’t it cool? It’s all thanks to Steve Jobs.

 

I think today was an awesome day… :)

First time writing report, hope I can improve next time.
