A Truly Wonderful Display by SWA Students. Bravo!

On Saturday, 5 May almost 200 people converged for the Annual Regional Scholar’s Cup Tournament at SWA. There were approximately 159 scholars from 10 top schools in Jakarta and Surabaya, who competed not only for the Jakarta round, but also to gain qualification to the World Scholar’s Cup, Global Round to be held in Bangkok at the end of June.

Again the students did exceptionally well, in spite of fierce competition. They rose to the occasion and many showed remarkable improvements from last year. Some won medals for the first time. Jane Karina defended her title in Literature. Elena emerged as the overall senior champion despite being a junior. Her team was the top senior team. These are just some of the highlights of our achievements. Almost all of our teams qualified for the World Scholar’s Cup.  Winning students are:
