Recently we invited Neil Farrelly as our Artist in Residence, to conduct drama workshops with a range of students from across the school. Neil is an expert in physical theatre technique and director of the Nose2Nose Theatre company based in London. The workshops helped the students develop ensemble skills through physical theatre, pushing them out of their comfort zones. Some looked at realist acting techniques and how to strengthen focus. Working with an experienced actor and director is an important component in the drama curriculum and the event was a great success and enjoyed by all.
