Welcome to 6.1 Humanities!

Humanities is the study of the human condition(how we act socially, personally and culturally) . My goal as your humanities teacher this year is to guide you to find answers to the human condition in the present, and the past. I hope to open you up to new ways of thinking, become more compassionate individuals by learn to analyzing, criticize and making judgments based on prior and new knowledge.

Our four main topics in Humanities 6 are:

Unit 1- Pollution Solutions

Unit 2- Animal Rights

Unit 3- Ancient Civilizations

Unit 4- Technology
