Welcome to Humanities 7!
Humanities is the study of the human condition(how we act socially, personally and culturally) . My goal as your humanities teacher this year is to guide you to find answers to the human condition in the present, and the past. I hope to open you up to new ways of thinking, become more compassionate individuals by learn to analyzing, criticize and making judgments based on prior and new knowledge.
Our four main topics in Humanities 7 are:
Unit 1-Water is Life
Unit 2- Forces of Nature
Unit 3-Rules
Unit 4-Japan

Do you think people should be able to report, write and share information freely? Why or why not?
I think that people must have permission to be able to report or share information because everyone has the right to privacy. People have the freedom to write information regarding themselves but about others, they will require permission from that person and reliable sources.
